One Click Cash: What Happened

One Click Cash no longer operates. It was one of the payday portfolios in Scott Tucker's AMG enterprise — shut down after a $1.3B FTC judgment and Tucker's criminal conviction.

What happened to One Click Cash

One Click Cash was one of the loan brands in Scott Tucker's AMG Capital Management network, alongside AmeriLoan, 500FastCash, United Cash Loans, and USFastCash. The operation used relationships with several tribes to claim sovereign immunity, but the FTC and courts found Tucker controlled the business. FTC v. AMG ended in a $1.266 billion judgment (2016); Tucker was convicted in October 2017 on 14 counts and sentenced to about 16 years and 8 months. The DOJ and FTC returned a record $505 million to consumers, and the business is closed.
